Keely & Paul chose to have an intimate wedding celebration with just their immediate families as they said their vows together on the dunes overlooking Lake Michigan. Clouds rolled in just as we were approaching the spot where they chose to have their ceremony, and we thought it might downpour, but they quickly rolled away and the sun came out shining for a beautiful ceremony. The two said their own handwritten vows to each other and their flower girl/pup, Savannah, ambushed them with kisses once they were officially married! Afterwards we hopped around to different locations with just the two of them for photos, and made our way back to a quiet, candlelit dinner at Bonobo Winery with their family. The sunset that day was unreal. One guest at the winery said that in all of his 15 years of living up in Traverse City, he had never seen anything like it. We ended the night with good wine, cigars and sparklers - it was a perfect wedding day in Northern Michigan.
